I'm delighted to be involved with Lewisham Libraries' World Book Night event, which is to be hosted at Forest Hill Library, Dartmouth Road, SE23 3HZ - run-time is 4.30 to 8pm Saturday 5 March.

The event has been organised as a book party with the emphasis on informal chat and mingling, rather than people seated in rows. The evening will have 10 minute readings from myself and other published authors along with spoken word performances from local storytellers and poets and periodic 'book gifting' from World Book Night book givers. So you'll have a chance to walk away with a free book as well as the opportunity to buy a signed copy of my latest.

Other confirmed authors for this event are: Nii Ayikwei Parkes, Bronia Kita and poet Chrissie Gittins. MC will be experienced professional storyteller, Sandra Agard.

Courtesy refreshments will be available. The Library are taking bookings for this free event on 020 8699 2065. It would be great to see you there.
